Without even mentioning the 'B' word we have plenty instore for the next 6 months.
But first a little recap on 2018 - we saw a record volume of permanent placements for the business lead by our Telford Branch where we saw an increase of nearly 50% on the previous years figures!! They successfully placed candidates in companies all over the West Midlands including Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Cannock, Stoke and Kidderminster to name but a few! Lets hope that 2019 continues in the same vein.
It also saw us increase our headcount internally by creating a new team within the business who are responsible for resourcing candidates for the various roles we recruit for.
The team is now headed by Lucy Roberts who has over 10 years recruitment experience initially as an Onsite Account Manager for Proactive Personnel and then GAP Personnel and more recently as an internal recruiter for a well known engineering business. Lucy is now leading a team of five other staff who are on hand to help make the volume of calls needed to generate new candidates! With the team working on annualised hours contracts they are able to work additional hours outside of core office hours to help contact candidates at a time to suit them.
Well enough about 2018 what does 2019 hold?
In Q1 we will mainly be focused on driving our temporary sales forward across North Wales, primarily focusing on Deeside, Flint, Mold and possibly into Chester as we already have an established database of readily available candidates for both Engineering and Manufacturing roles.
Q1 will also see a significant upgrade to our CRM package with real time data reports and a more user friendly customer interface - hopefully Q2 will see this integrated with our booking systems so clients can see all of the candidates we have available at the touch of a button!
Our Telford Office are committed to making further inroads into supplying customers in Stoke and Wolverhampton over the first half of the year so much so that we have already recruited an additional Consultant Conor Worswick to lead the charge
